Are my details confidential? How much do you charge? We aim to keep charges to a realistic level and increases to a minimum whilst providing a dedicated, caring service. However increases may be necessary in-line with national inflation. Current price lists are available on request and all prices include insurance, liabilty and administration fees. back to top How do I pay? We try to make this aspect as simple as possible. Invoices will be distributed on a weekly basis. Payment is normally due within two working days of this invoice. On reciept of the monies, your invoice and careplan will be duly signed. Other payment methods (e.g. monthly or standing order) can be made on request. back to top Are your employees trained? BWR Care Ltd employ's staff of varying abilities but inisist that all staff have a genuine interest in helping people and a caring flexible attitude. All staff undertake basic training with both management and experienced carers. Employees are encouraged to improve their skills and some have completed exams in health care. All staff have to undergo police and reference checks and do not operate on a self-employed basis. BWR Care pays all national insurance and tax contributions. back to top How can I identify my carer at the door? All carers have an identity badge showing their name, position and recent photograph, endorsed by a partners signature and will have the business logo.If you are in doubt please telephone the office before opening the door. back to top Will I get the same carer each visit? BWR Care Ltd aims to match clients with the most suitable carers and encourages long lasting relationships beneficial to both parties, however during times of illness or holidays it may not be possible for your regular carer to attend. Wherever possible we will introduce you to your replacement. back to top Will my carer always be on time? Our carers will attempt to keep to the times arranged with your. However problems may occur on an earlier visit which could cause a delay. For this reason we apply a policy of a 'leeway' or thirty minutes earlier or later than your alotted time. If the delay will be of a longer duration you will be notified by telephone where possible and another carer will attend to your needs. All visits to clients will be recorded daily and may require your signature. back to top What if I dont like my carer? BWR Care Ltd tries to ensure that the most suitable carer will be assigned to you. However if you are unhappy for any reason please contact the office and we will assign a replacement as soon as possible. back to top Can you administer medication? If you have difficulty taking your medication your carer will be able to prompt or supervise this, however all medication must be presented in a medipack. Medipacks may be filled by a family member or a chemist. back to top Are you covered by insurance? BWR Care is fully covered under a comprehensive insurance policy, details of which can be provided on request. back to top What if my carer breaks something in my house? Our insurance covers items in your home against accidental damage by a carer. However it is your responsibility to make sure your home is as safe and as danger free as possible. Please remove any valuables in order to reduce risk. back to top What if I want to cancel a visit? Should you wish to cancel any visits we require one weeks notice, if this is given, a retainer fee of half the usual rate will apply. If you wish to cancel the service we require one weeks notice. BWR Care Ltd reserves the right to cancel any service immediately if there is any evidence of abuse either physical, emotional, verbal or sexual towards carers initiated by clients or any member of their family. back to top Are my details confidential? BWR Care Ltd complies with the "Access to personal files" act 1987. All our carers sign a confidentiality statement and any digressions made are met with instant dismissal.
